The film and HDTV cameras that NASA uses during rocket launches are probably right up there. You know, those video cameras that televise a Space Shuttle takeoff from the Kennedy Space Center and keep tracking it to half way across the ocean. Here's a 10MB pdf with pictures of that gear. Some of those lenses look big enough to convert into apartments. You cant buy one, only rent or lease it for $1000/day. If you want to film for theater use you will have to use one or else pay to have your prints converted for use with the Panavision projection lenses that theaters use. I think the RED cameras are very expensive.
