| When will they make PLAYSTATION 4 ? and how will it be like :O? | |||||
|
any news on playstation 4 ? do they work on it ? how long will it last ? longer than PS3 ? 2012 they will work on it so 2013 Sony declared the life cycle of the PS3 would be 10 years, assuming a two year overlap the PS4 wouldn't be released until 2014. . Sony haven't finalised the hardware yet, but early indications point to 2 Cell processors each running at ~5 Ghz. If true, ignoring any graphics processor, that would give the PS3 the capability of performing real time HD ray tracing (such as the demo shown in the link, which was rendered with 2x Cell processors on IBM Blade servers). Not for atleast 2 more years, the ps3 is still pretty new so why make a new one now? As for whats new, graphics will be the main improvement, Sony plans on finally making games look completly realistic which has been a problem mostly because it simply takes too much memory to hold all of that info. That along with a few minor control upgrades and a few others that i cant really talk about if i want to keep my job lol . Im a graphic artist for Sony something like 2014. I can't imagine what it's going to be like. I imagine some sort of 3d if it catches on for home entertainment, but outside of that, I guess we'll see. a long time ago I heard news about playstation making one that is controlled by a helmet which detects brain waves, they already have the technology, I saw it demonstrated on tv like 6 years ago. It will surely not release before 2014-15. They have just released the slim version and the sales have gone up. Not many will buy the PS4 so quickly anyway if they release. I hope game companies suck every last bit of power of the ps3 before Sony can launch the ps4 well should be 2013. but according to John Cusack we are going to die in 2012. soooo.... it too early to see how kick *** the ps4 is going to be maybe 2014 it comes out in 2013 it is supposed to come sometime in 2010........but still i think there is a long way to go.... . http://gizmodo.com/219190/playstation-4-coming-in-2010-playstation-3-to-be-media-hub
