| What are the Puppy Basics I need to have to bring my Bulldog puppy home? | |||||
|
I'm getting him tomorrow and already have his Crate, bedding, food, bowls, toys... What else do I need? Anyone? Ear cleaner Nail clipper or Dremel tool "Kwik Stop" for possible nail bleeds when clipping Unscented baby wipes to wipe the butt (Bulldogs have a "pocket" under their tail and above the anal opening that often doesn't "clean itself" Folder to keep all health documents and papers in Start saving money for a special "medical needs fund" Find a good Bulldog Vet, not one that just sees 1 Bulldog per year Well you might consider getting some Bitter apple to spray on things you don't want him to chew on. Also idk what area u are in but if it is extremely cold you should consider getting some pee pads for in the house to help train him so he doesn't go all over. Lastly get some Natures Miracle or something along those lines to help get the odor out of carpets where he has accidents. Good Luck and have fun. Oh just to let you know.. when you get him make sure when you put him/her in the crate they have water because they can dehydrate really quick and only feed him about 15 pices of food at Breakfast,Lunch, and Dinner because puppies dont know how to controll there eating. they will eat and eat and eat. Hope i helped! When everyone retires for the night, you could get a wind up clock and place it in his bunk. The ticking will keep him company. He won't feel alone and it may soothe him from crying through the night. an appointment at the vet. All new animals shoudl have a check up within 72 hours fo coming home, even if they already have a clean bill of health from another vet. a lot lot of patience and comprehension and very much love. Believe me you'll need it. you'll defiantly need a leash and collar Your breeder will know.
